TO STATE MY CONCLUDING REMARKS!

This is just my own concluding statement, my own opinion and my own
stand. I will ask Paul Geronimo (ICTM REP) later to make his
statements also.

I would like to offer my greatest gratitude for each and everyone who
took part of these matter. The batch assembly, the batch 2t11 and
other people who are very active and shared thoughts with regards to
the issue. You are indeed proven as true Lasallians who really care
for the good of everyone not just yourself. And let us pe proud of
ourselves, for proving ourselves as the pride of the new generation.
Once again I thank you for everything that you have done, either in
words, thoughts or in actions.

Please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of my batch and as part
of the batch assembly; For those people who have misunderstood some
things and for those people who were hurt and were shock of the things
that are happening. Please understand that each and everyone is just
stating their stand and opinions so let us not jump into conclusions
easily otherwise everything turn the other way around. Being
open-minded and understanding is one way to curb these arguments. So
please let us not argue like this again, once in for all, when
something goes wrong let us take it in a way that no one will get hurt
or arguments like these happen. Analyze the matter first before making
a move, or else we'll regret it.

We have all the means to do what is right, but let us not use actions,
words or thoughts that are inevitably incorrect and defy the human
laws and even God's will. All of us are given a chance to speak for
ourselves but let us not be selfish and be self-centered. Make a move
but try not to make it worse. We are considered as humans, high class
and think differently as compared to other creations. So we should
make use of these knowledge the Father have given us in a nice way and
to help each and everyone.

For those people who do not have the courage to stand and state his
opinions, please do not be afraid because we need the full compliance
of the batch whenever something like this occur. We cannot decide this
by ourselves or by just few people talking. But we should all do this
together. I know some people who did not take part on these
discussions (names will not be mentioned). So please next time try to
make use of your thoughts. Do not stay there and do nothing. What we
are doing, what each and everyone of us are doing contributes to the
goodness of our batch and for every individual in the batch; I know
that if we work real hard, that if we work together, nothing can stop
us, even our professors. And soon they'll realize that we are the best
batch, that we are the pride of CCS and DLSU. So I am not just talking
about ICTM 2t11 but also CATCH 2t11.

Let this be a lesson for us so that in the near future we won't be
having any complications at all. Maybe some may occur but none of
those will make us loose our hopes and determinations. Let us use this
matter as a tool for us to grow more as a comsci student, as true
Lasallian, and as a true person of the new generation. We have given
many chances, let us use it wisely and from there let us make the most
of it and prove them wrong.

I believe so that our batch really has a chronic illness but I will
not say any further statements with regards to those matter. I know it
myself, and you know it yourself, because you should know it,
otherwise, you're not aware nor concerned. It was explained to me by
our professor and I added some more. I believe so it was true and I am
one of the people who wants to prove them wrong, that although we are
named as the worst batch, we can curb this illness and try to convince
them that we are the best. I know we can, we just have to try and
one way of making this happen is to help each other not just
academically but on extra curricular. A team, a group of people with
the same goal is better than a person who works just for himself and
himself alone.

I am saying this things as one of your course representative, as a
Lasallian, as compsci student under CCS and as a fellow batchmate who
cares not for the good of myself, not for the good of my group but for
the excellence the batch can do. I am here as one of your course rep
so please do not say that I am not doing anything. In fact I and Paul
did everything we can to help you. So your failure, is not our failure
as your course reps. It just so happen that some of you failed to
comply with the things we are asking, with the issues we are saying
and with the announcements we have delivered to you. You should be
thankful that there exists an us. And yet you didn't make use of "us"
instead you took us for granted and this is what you get. Regrets are
always experienced in the end.

So there I have stated my stand, my opinion and my concluding words. I
would like to end this a scripture from the book of Matthew:
"Let it be this way for now, for this is the proper way for us to
fulfill all righteousness."

there's a purpose why sir oli has given us a paper of how we would be
grade, and the list of our requirements..ung BLUE paper.. make sure to
make it as your references. Wag na tayo paeasy-easy. 2nd term na. At
sa CCS mahirap tlga ang 2nd term.
sir oli told me, that every week magkakadelieverable kayo, required
talaga kayo sa course na yan.. training na rin ito sa inyo. sa methods
nga, pagnalate ka, 0.0 ka na agad. So please, be lenient and read all
of whats required of you carefully. Its a chance na binigay sa inyo so
grab your opportunities. Just focus on what you do and you can make it.
And remember to be aware of the deadlines, magtanong tanong sa mga
kasama, MAGTULUNGAN kayo. At pagbigay ng assignment delieverables,
gawin agad. kahit unti unti.. hangang magdeadline, para di kayo
magkacram.

THE TALK OF PAUL AND SIR OLI (on the phone) -- a must read!!!

one of your course rep Paul Geronimo called and talked to Sir Oli on
the phone because Sir Oli texted me but I can't call him because I'm
out so I told paul and so they talked. Here are the things they talked
about:


ok sabi ni sir oli.. na those na di nagcomply meaning incomplete, late
etc. will get an automatic 1 for the delieverable kahapon.and as a
consequence in return para mawala ung 1.0 nila is that they have to
work hard for the 80% rate..

ung mga nakasubmit nman ng complete. wla silang problema, and may
problema lang ay ung mga may kulang. so meaning wlang hassle sa mga
nagpasa ng complete.. un lang.

so ang may problema tlga ay ung mga may deficiencies.
so walang problema ung mga complete.
un na un.

IF YOU'RE AN ICTM 2t11 or YOU'RE ICTM FROM UPPER CLASS BUT FOLLOWS THE 2t11 FLOWCHART. THEN YOU WILL READ THIS IF YOU CARE!

To all ICTM students, not just the one taking up DAT-BAS and DEV-WEB
but for all ICTM 2t11:

-You have not responded to any of my sms, maybe some of you did and
thank you for that one; you haven't filed any resolution that's why we
made ours; some of you didn't comply for the requirements but who are
to blame; some of you didn't cooperate when we are asking for the
directory even if it's your own good; some of you did not make the
survey and some made it wrong and as far as i know the number of
people in our batch who answered the survey didn't make it to half our
number.

-Starting today Paul and I will not make any announcements, either in
this yahoogroup or in public or in any form e.g. ym, gm or sms. We've
gone too far and look what we did. Starting today you are on you're
own to pay attention to our professors and follow the step by step
procedure given by our teacher. READ and LISTEN! Don't make any
unreasonable excuses. This applies to all academics related. I will
only make announcements if the professor told me to do so.

-HERE ARE THE RESOLUTIONS:
1.retain the old system, 1.0 for the whole term (0.0,1.0,4.0) the one stated in our syllabus.
2.get a 1.0 in the requirement today,but max grade for the term could reach to 4.0, and 85% is the passing grade in project (applies to all).
3.same with number 2 but only applies for those who failed to comply with the requirements today.
4.give me other reasonable resolutions which are convincing and fair.

-For those of you who have received my sms about the resolution, I
will choose the 3rd choice (the 1.0 for the whole term will be
eliminated, only get a 1.0 for the requirement today and the passing
for the defense and project is 85%. NO CONSIDERATIONS. Beware that
failure to meet the the passing grade in defense and project, means
you fail the course). This resolution only applies for those people
who's maximum grade for the term is 1.0 because they fail to comply to
the requirements. Nevertheless, this resolution will curb that and
have a chance to get a 4.0 as their max grade. But the challenge is
this, got to exert more effort and excellence in what you're doing,
what we are doing.

-NO MORE CONSIDERATIONS will be given to us all no matter what is it.
So we have to be very careful and think wisely. Most of these things
are from sir oliver malabanan.

-what else do you want to add, I will give you a chance to make a
decision and we have until tomorrow lunch to make these decisions. Or
else I might push the number 1 and 2 choices so that we will learn
from our mistakes.

-Sir Oli said to me about this chronic illness in our batch and it's
true then. We are being pampered with lots of considerations and
kindness. We depend on these things, on the announcements, to your
representatives; How could we learn to stand for ourselves and have
the urge to move forward.

-Some of you said that make it 75% then 1.0 only applies today, some
said consider the requirement for today and next time try to make more
effort, and a lot more that goes with the like. THESE ARE ALL PART OF
CONSIDERATIONS AGAIN! And sir oli wouldn't agree to these things, and
neither do I. I understand his reasons and I agree with his stand. You
may think he's harsh but think more, you'll realize it's for our own good.

-I will only be needing the group leaders to response to my concerns
so the we won't be flooding the yg with messages. Or else I will
decide on my own, sir oli is just waiting for the resolution I will
pass to him.

-In the first place I shouldn't be doing these things, but the problem
is I care and I am not selfish. Look everything is instructed, some of
us met the requirements and some did not. So what's unfair there?
Everything's fair and square, right? That's why I tried my best, but
please cooperate or else nothing good can happen.

-So what now, will you be willing to stand and eliminate the chronic
illness in our batch or just do nothing while every professors are
saying that we are the worst batch ever they haven't experienced for
the last four years.

-I hope that everyone will cooperate not just the one who have
concerns. When I mean everyone, it's the whole batch. So please don't
be so self-centered, selfish or whatsoever. Don't be so numb and say
or do nothing. You're part of the batch, make use of you thoughts.
